This month the committee would like to recognise the work of certain individuals.
- Firstly, to Kath Smith for her dedicated service to Go-Ride, Kath has now stepped down from coaching our youngest members, a role she has been fulfilling for many years, starting when it was at Barkston Heath.
- To all those that supported the Charity 10 and TLI events, especially Teresa, Rea and Helen: we made £158.49 from the cakes sales which goes to our chosen charity Brake.org.uk
- To Julie Close and Lily’s for their donations to the Charity 10 prizes and raffle.
Social Rides
This month sees the start of Wednesday social rides. For those that have not attended these before
they are the first Wednesday of the month, leaving the Horseshoes at 18:00. There are usually four
groups out to cater for different speeds and distances, including an off-road group, followed by a
meal and drinks at the Horseshoes after the ride. Details will be on the Website and Facebook pages.
