6. Support for All Ages and Abilities

We offer a range of membership options suitable for all ages and abilities. From young beginners to seasoned riders, there’s a place for everyone at Sleaford Wheelers. Our Go-Ride programme also helps nurture young cyclists, providing them with the skills they need to excel.

7. Access to Club Resources and Facilities

Members gain access to our training resources, including coaching sessions, cycling workshops, and group rides. We also have a dedicated club area for socialising and sharing advice on cycling-related topics, ensuring you always have the support you need.

1. Free or discounted British Cycling membership for your 1st year (new British Cycling members only) 
   
   
2. Cycling Time Trials. You'll be able to compete in time trials around the country, from club events to national championships. We run time trials almost every Thursday evening from the end of March to the end of August.
   
   
3. Kids! Go-Ride (aimed at Under 16s) coaching most Tuesday evenings at Sleaford Rugby Club. 
   
   
4. Our HQ is a pub! Monthly committee meetings and evening time trials are based at The Horseshoes Pub in Silk Willoughby (www.horseshoessilkwilloughby.co.uk/).
   
   
5. Kit! You get to buy our awesome kit as well as (very reasonably priced) club hoodies & t-shirts. You can buy discounted kit when bulk order windows are open (usually 2 or 3 times per year)
   
   
6. Women! We've got loads of women in our club these days, thanks to the amazing efforts of our hard-working ladies committee. We have women's on and off-road social rides throughout the year, and even a few off-road coaching sessions!
   
   
7. Club rides! We have weekly club rides almost every Sunday; often splitting into 3 groups at various distances and speeds.
   
   
8. We're very sociable! not so long ago, we visited the Tour de Yorkshire, The Tour of Britain, the Lincoln Grand Prix, and had off-road rides at Rutland Water, Sherwood Pines, and Dalby Forest. Sometimes we even do non-cycling stuff, like quiz nights at the Solo Bar or having our own dog race at Peterborough Greyhounds (that really happened!). Who knows what we'll get up to this year?
   
   
9. Events! As well as putting on lots of time trials, we also organize a round of the Lincolnshire Cyclo Cross Association league, a round of the Go Green Grass Track series, and a round of the Lincs Road Race League. If you don't race, we always need volunteers to help out, or you can just spectate and cheer on The Mighty Wheelers!

We offer several membership types to suit different needs, from casual cyclists to competitive racers. All memberships include access to our regular rides, club events, and benefits listed.

• £20.00 - Senior Membership: First claim club members, 18 and over, offering full access to all club events and activities.
• £10.00 - Senior Membership (over 60's): First claim club members, 60 and over, offering full access to all club events and activities.
• £40.00 - Family Membership: First claim club members, up to 2 adults + all children under 18 in full-time education.
• £10.00 - Junior Membership: For young cyclists (16 & 17), with access to our Go-Ride programme and development opportunities.
• £10.00 - Juvenile Membership: For younger cyclists (under 16), with access to our Go-Ride programme and development opportunities.
• £5.00 - Social Membership: For non-riders who want to support the club and attend all social events.
• £10.00 - Second Claim Membership: for first claim members of another CTT registered cycling club.
• £20.00 - Second Claim Associate Member: available for HM Forces Personel only.
