Lead the Pack – Become a Sleaford Wheelers Ride Leader!
Do you love cycling, know your way around the lanes, and enjoy helping others get the most from their ride? Then it’s time to step up – we need you!
Sleaford Wheelers are looking for enthusiastic and experienced cyclists to join our team of Club Ride Leaders. Whether you’re a regular on our Sunday spins or enjoy a steady midweek ride, this is your chance to ride with purpose and give back to the cycling community you love.
As a Ride Leader, you’ll:
- Confidently guide groups on club rides (10–16mph pace)
- Help create a positive and welcoming environment for all riders
- Share your knowledge of routes, road skills, and riding etiquette
- Support both newcomers and seasoned cyclists to enjoy every mile
What we’re looking for:
- Good road sense and cycling experience
- A friendly, encouraging attitude
- Clear communication and leadership skills
- A commitment to keeping rides fun, inclusive, and above all, safe
You’ll also be helping support our Club Captain when they’re not available – making sure our rides keep rolling smoothly.
