1.1. Membership is valid for a calendar year, commencing from 31st January.
1.2. Fees must be paid in full to activate or renew membership for the year.
2.1. The membership fees are determined annually and published on the Sleaford Wheelers Cycling Club website.
2.2. Fees are non-refundable, except as outlined in Section 6.
3.1. Membership fees can be paid via the methods specified on the club’s website, including BACS payment (bank transfers), post and in person.
3.2. Payments must be accompanied by a completed membership form to ensure accurate processing.
4.1. Renewal reminders will be issued prior to the start of the new membership year.
4.2. Members who fail to renew by 31st January will forfeit their membership privileges until payment is received.
5.1. Fees vary by membership category, including but not limited to individual, family, junior, and senior memberships. 5.2. Proof of eligibility may be required for certain categories (e.g., junior memberships).
6.1. Refunds are not provided except in exceptional circumstances, such as administrative errors or duplicate payments. 6.2. Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the club treasurer and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
7.1. Members are required to adhere to the club’s constitution and code of conduct as a condition of their membership. 7.2. Failure to comply with the rules may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
8.1. The club reserves the right to amend membership fees and these terms and conditions. Changes will be communicated to members via email and published on the club’s website.
9.1. Personal data collected during the membership process will be used solely for club purposes and managed in accordance with data protection regulations.
