A big shout out to Gaz Wheelwright who rode every day in March, chalking up an impressive 1133 miles ridden and, in the process, raising £725 for this year’s chosen charity (https://www.brake.org.uk). A great achievement for a fantastic cause.
The Time Trial series kicked off with the early 10 on 29th March. This was on the new alternate course. The course promises to be a fast one but not on a cold, windy Sunday morning in March! Well done to all those that took part and the team that runs and supports the events, Harry, Sophie, Teresa, Rea and Darren.
The Charity 10 TT is this Saturday, 4th April on our normal course. This year’s event is sponsored by Lily’s Lavender Hut; they have provided an Easter Gift Box worth £50 which will be raffled off. It would be great if you could come and support on the day; the event starts at 14:00 and Race HQ is Silk Willoughby Village Hall where you could come along afterwards and buy some raffle tickets to have a chance at winning the Gift Box from Lily’s. All riders that have entered the event automatically have one raffle ticket allocated.

After the success of the Track Days that were run by our new sponsor, Phil Harrison, supported by Anne, it has been proposed by Phil to run some more events next autumn/winter culminating in a club championship in February. However, to make this possible we need the numbers to make it worthwhile. The proposed dates are as follows:
26th September, 10th October, 21st November and 2nd January. December is also an option depending on availability. It is hoped to get the 14:00 timeslots but times may vary.
To make it financially viable we are asking for a £10 deposit for the sessions.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending these events as soon as possible so we can confirm the dates and times.
