Yorkshire Cycle Festival

Sleaford Wheelers are heading north! We’re excited to be taking part in the Yorkshire Cycle Festival from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June 2026 at Driffield Showground — one of the biggest and friendliest cycling gatherings in the UK.

This three-day festival celebrates all things cycling with a mix of free led rides, vintage and retro bike displays, trade stands, skills sessions, family-friendly activities, jumble sales, racing and more — and there’s always plenty of atmosphere with great food, music and refreshments on site.

• Free, guided rides for all abilities — from gentle social spins to longer club-paced adventures.
• Displays & clubs showcasing classic, modern and adaptive bikes.
• Trade stands & cycle expo with the latest gear and kit.
• Airbag jumps, skills coaching and kids’ fun to keep everyone entertained.
• Cycle jumble — bargain hunting heaven for parts and accessories.

🚐 Camping & Volunteers

Sleaford Wheelers will be there supporting rides and helping out with event activities. If you’re able to assist Kev Smith (Focus Rides) with stewarding or event duties during the weekend, we can offer free camping for volunteers — please get in touch for details.

Whether you’re keen to ride, lend a hand or soak up the cycling buzz, this is a superb weekend out for everyone in the club. Entry and most activities are free — and we’d love to see as many Wheelers as possible representing the club!
