It’s been a busy but very enjoyable season and my sincere thanks go out to all of the folks who have turned up week in week out to make sure these events have been successful. Big thanks to Richard Hamblin, who tackled all the TT paperwork this year and did the “setting off” for the majority of the season.
My very special thanks go to Julie, for timekeeping all season, and for being the backbone of the organising, making sure everything is sorted and smooth running.

Hill Climb 28th August 2022

A fabulously sunny morning for this year's Annual SWCC Hillbillies outing!
Fifteen riders battled up Leadenham Hill this morning, hoping to win the much-coveted candlesticks, but in the end, it was Dominic Righini-Brand and Evgeniya Righini-Brand who managed to take the candlesticks home this season! Congratulations to you both!
Fastest junior was Devon Morgan and fastest juvenile was Noah Starbuck. Congratulations!
Following on from the hill Climb it was over to Caythorpe for the traditional downhill freewheel event…... A few new challengers this year but Ian Paul our expert freewheeler returned this year to once again claim the championship. Excellent achievement again Ian, well done!
