If you’re new to the Club, returning to cycling after a break, or simply fancy a more relaxed, easy spin with friendly company, our starter rides are the perfect way to get involved. These rides are designed to welcome newcomers, support those returning from injury, and offer a sociable ride at a gentler pace.
Held on the second Sunday of each month, these no-drop rides will be approximately 20 miles long and ridden at the pace of the slowest rider, ensuring there’s no pressure to keep up. Each ride is led by a guest ride leader, bringing their own flavour and friendly guidance to the route.
Expect a sociable atmosphere with plenty of opportunity to chat and enjoy coffee and cake at a local café afterwards. Whether you’re new to group riding or just looking for a steadier ride, all are welcome!
