Hi all

Sunday (27TH) run attached.  As I'm not available due to family commitments, Stu McKellar will be leading the long club run.  Leader for short run (if needed) to be decided on the day.Meet at 9am as usual in the Market Square..

A reminder about the runs available:

Training run - leaves at 9.10. There is no restriction on pace nor any policy about waiting for stragglers, mechanicals, punctures etc.  You need to be able to look after yourself if you get dropped for any reason. These rides are not formally led and it is at the discretion of riders present whether they follow the published route(s) or not but I suggest you print yourself a copy in case you need it.

Club run (long and shorter options as published) - leaves at 9.15.
  Club run rules apply to both long and shorter runs. The pace will be moderate. Riders are expected to keep together as a group, look after each other and make sure no-one is suffering or gets dropped. Riders who need a reduction in pace should say so before they 'go out the back' (it only gets worse if you suffer in silence).  On these runs,  it is not acceptable to force the pace or half-wheel the rider beside you - if you want to do that, go on the training run.

The aim here is to try and cater for all riders with a basic level of fitness or better who can manage the distance and the normal pace  (around 16mph in fairly still conditions, on the flat).  Above all, it is hoped that everyone will enjoy their Sunday run. It is of course incumbent on riders to choose a run which suits their level of fitness and make sure they have tools, mudguards, lights, food, drink and preferably a phone.

If the Sunday distances or pace seem a bit daunting, you are advised to go on the Saturday runs as a first step and build up fitness before you attempt these.
